Sundays ritual lighting at Mysore Palace.
Every Sunday in Mysore at 7pm hundreds of people gather around the outside of the Mysore Palace to see the lighting. I got to enjoy it on my first Sunday in India, it started with a beautiful sunset and the moment it got dark at 7 on the dot the Palace lit up like a Christmas tree. Lovely display of thousands of lights and free of entry to those who wish to experience this tradition held every Sunday.
